Warehouse & Facility

Our vertical integrated production facility is established on a site area of 0.5 hectares, of which 0.1 hectares are buildings, where performed operations such as hulling, shelling, blanching, peelling, drying, sorting, grading, dicing, dry roasting, color sorting and nut butter making of 30 tons per 8 hours.

Α. Shelling (nut cracking / breaking of shells): 10 tons per 8 hours

B. Sizing: 7 tons per 8 hours

C. Sorting pistachios Split / non split pistachios: 4 tons per 8 hours

D. Blanching: 1.6 ton per 8 hours

E. Roasting (dry roasting with sea salt and/or citric acid-lemon): 1.8 tons per 8 hours

F. Dicing: 1.8 tons per 8 hours

G. Color sorting: 4.0 ton per 8 hours.

H. Paste / butter making: 1.2 ton per 8 hours.

Ι. Glass jar or pillow packing: 1.2 ton per 8 hours.

Our facility also includes a cold storage chamber of 45 tons, a warehouse of total storing capacity of 200 tons per time and a 20 tons fumigation chamber for the best conservation of dried nuts. Makin nuts is more than ever focused on the environment, all plants are fitted with clean energy system and a 10 Kw photovoltaic solar tracking system, both ensure sustainability and energy saving.
